Writer/director/makeup FX artist/editor Damien Leone provided another post-production update on the current status the highly anticipated Halloween horror sequel Terrifier 2 this week, noting that his initial rough cut clocks in with a runtime of two hours and 21 minutes.In a recent post on the film’s official Facebook page, Leone guarantees that even after he’s finished “trimming the fat,” the final cut will remain slightly over two hours long. He says once the film is in a more presentable form, they will begin shopping it to distributors, aiming for a release in time for the 2021 Halloween season, though it will all depend on the details of the distribution deal.The official synopsis: After Art the Clown is resurrected by a sinister entity, he returns to the timid town of Miles County, where he targets a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween Night.The film is written and directed by Damien Leone, who also serves as a producer, along with Phil Falcone, George Steuber, Steven Della Salla, Mike Leavy, and Jason Leavy.David Howard Thornton once again plays Art the Clown in Terrifier 2.
